Who we are

Who We Are

The social arm of the Renewal in the Holy Spirit Association (RHSA) – Lebanon

Members of RHSA have responded to the biblical view to “restore the Walls and rebuild the Man!”.  We clearly understand that we are meant to be a light to the Lebanese society as well as to families, parishes, schools, universities and workplaces. Our history which started in 1969 has delivered countless events, retreats, formation seminars, support groups, works of mercy, as well as many age-appropriate outreaches (renewallebanon.org).

The name “Al Samiri” is inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, and reflects our commitment to compassion, empathy, and altruism in all our endeavors. Like the Samaritan who showed kindness to a stranger in need, we strive to be a beacon of hope and assistance to our fellow citizens.

Our actions are guided by the values of solidarity and service, as we endeavor to uplift and support those who are marginalized, vulnerable, or in crisis regardless of their background or circumstances. Through our work, we aim to foster a culture of care, generosity, and social responsibility, making a positive difference in the lives of others and promoting a more compassionate and inclusive society.
